“Fragments d’histoire actuelle” is a 14 track journey through themes of love, fear, anger, regret, and hope.

Handsone / Pottker came together when Chris, founding guitarist of notorious Los Angeles punk rock band Thelonious Monster, rejoined the band in 2019 after a long hiatus to make their latest album “Oh That Monster”. There he met Nate, a long time friend of the band acting as engineer for their writing sessions, and found they had a shared interest in making electro / experimental rock / pop music. Recording primarily remotely during the Covid era, they were able to wrangle performances from some of their friends including drummers Joe Berardi (The Fibonaccis, Non Credo, Stan Ridgway) and John Montgomery (Bow Wow Wow, The Mudbug Brass Band, Spain), as well as guest vocal appearances by Eloise Wong (The Linda Lindas) and Dutch filmmaker Wendy van Wilgenburg (who also contributed Cello) and a Saxophone feature from Jerry Gordon (Moontriangle).
